June 17. Day 1
Airport – Bishkek (city tour) - Ala Archa (National Park) (110 km).
Upon arrival you will be met by our driver and guide. Transfer to the hotel and rest. After the rest sightseeing tour: we discover the city center, Ala Too Square, White House, Oak Park, statues of Manas, Kurmandjan Datka, Lenin and est, Art Gallery under the open sky, Victory square, Opera and Ballet Theatre, Osh Bazar (oriental market). Lunch and welcome dinner in a local restaurant, where you have a chance to try local food.
June 18. Day 2
Bishkek – Toktogul (272 km).
After breakfast transfer to Toktogul reservoir is one of the largest in Central Asia located in Jalal Abad region. The way from Bishkek to Toktogul will go through the Too Ashu Pass which is a majestic place located 135 km from the city of Bishkek, along the highway connecting the northern and southern capitals of the country. The height of the pass is 3400 m. The road in this place is truly breathtaking, and the traveler has an indescribable view of the mountain scenery. Toktogul reservoir is the human made lake. It takes water of Naryn River. The color of the water and color of the surrounded mountains creates unforgettable landscape. Lunch on the way in Chichkan Gorge. Upon arrival accommodation in a guest house. Dinner and overnight at the same place.
June 19. Day 3
Toktogul – Arstanbap (311 km).
After breakfast transfer to Arstanbap National Reserve. It is the largest natural fruit and nut forests in the world. Annually there harvested 1500 tons of nuts and 5000 tons of apples, pistachios and cherry plums. Lunch on the way. Upon arrival accommodation in a guest house, dinner and overnight.
June 20. Day 4
Arstanbap – Osh (201 km).
In the morning walk around the village. Then continue our way to Osh (our south capital). Lunch on the way near to Jalal Abad city. On arrival to Osh city tour. In which we visit Suleiman Mountain, historical museum, central square with Lenin monument, Russian Orthodox Church, Osh Bazar (oriental market). After city tour accommodation in a hotel, then dinner in a local Uzbek family.
June 21. Day 5
Osh - Kazarman (280 km).
After breakfast we start moving to Kazarman. On the way we will visit Uzgen town with its historical complex: a tower and three mausoleums, built when the city was one of the capitals of the Karakhanid Kaganate (11-12 centuries). Lunch on the way. Upon arrival to Kazarman accommodation in a guest house. The village is the place to visit for the Saimaluu Tash petroglyphs expedition, a place that is a cluster of rock art, carved on blocks of sandstone age calculated to be about 4000 years old. Dinner and overnight in a guest house.
June 22. Day 6
Kazarman – Son Kul (152 km).
In the morning transfer to Son Kul Lake, second largest lake after Issyk Kul. It is located at an altitude of 3016 m. The lake is surrounded by a wide meadow (jailoo) and Tien Shan Mountains. Since ancient times, nomadic tribes living here used this land for summer pasture. Until now, shepherds use them to graze their livestock. Upon arrival to the yurt camp, accommodation, rest and lunch. Before dinner a few options we can go for a walk to the petroglyphs, visit a family of a local shepherd and of course you have a chance to take a stunning photos of the sunset on Son Kul. Dinner in a yurt camp.
June 23. Day 7
Son Kul – Tash Rabat (246 km).
Tash Rabat ancient caravan-sarai is waiting for us today. On the way to that place we are going to do a descent through the one of the most beautiful Pass “32 Parrots”. When descending from the pass, we will make a stop and walk to a small waterfall. Then on the way we are going to do one more stop for lunch, in Naryn town in a local Kyrgyz family. After accommodation in a yurt camp we visit ancient caravan sarai Tash Rabat. It was built in the 12th century and was used until the end of the 14th century, and located at an altitude 3200 meters. After visiting, a walk along the beautiful valley of Kara Kuyun. Dinner and overnight in a yurt camp.
June 24. Day 8
Tash Rabat - Kochkor (227 km).
After breakfast transfer to Kochkor village. During Soviet times the fields around the village were planted with potatoes. By the way, the most delicious potatoes still come from Kochkor District. We will also have the opportunity to visit the local souvenir store, where by making a purchase you will contribute to the earnings of local women who create these souvenirs with their hands. Lunch, dinner and overnight in a guest house.
June 25. Day 9
Kochkor - Bishkek (197 km).
Today we go back to Bishkek. Today on the way to Bishkek we visit the ancient city Balasagun, one of the capitals of the Karakhanid’s state. After the excursion, lunch in a local family in the neighboring village Don Aryk. Upon arrival to the city accommodation in a hotel. Free time. Dinner in a local restaurant.
June 26. Day 10
Departure. End the services.
